PH5322 – Oral Health Care
Oral Health Care provides an understanding of dental health principles and practices. Students learn about oral anatomy, common dental diseases such as caries and periodontal conditions, oral hygiene practices, and preventive dental care. The course also covers oral health promotion, fluoride use, nutrition, and community dental health strategies.
Emphasis is placed on the integration of oral health into broader public health initiatives, particularly in underserved communities where access to dental care is limited.
