PH5308 – Health Management I & II

This two-part course focuses on the principles and practices of health service management. Topics include leadership in healthcare, planning and organizing health programs, resource management, supervision, monitoring and evaluation, and policy implementation. Students explore the roles and responsibilities of health managers at different levels of the health system.

The course also emphasizes problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills necessary for effective management. Case studies and real-life scenarios are used to build practical skills in managing health projects, facilities, and systems.
