BIO192GENERAL BIOLOGY PRACTICAL II
BIO192 – General Biology Practical II is a continuation of BIO191 and is designed to reinforce and extend laboratory skills in biological sciences, particularly those related to plant and animal biology. Students engage in practical sessions involving comparative anatomy, physiological experiments, and ecological sampling. Activities may include examining plant tissues, studying animal organ systems, and exploring the adaptations of organisms through fieldwork and in-lab simulations.
By integrating laboratory techniques with ecological and evolutionary theory, the course fosters a hands-on understanding of the complexity of life. Students also learn data analysis and reporting skills, essential for biological research and documentation. This course not only solidifies the student's grasp of core biological principles but also builds a foundation for more advanced laboratory and field research.
